"Oh remember, remember . . . I urge you to find ways to recognize and remember God's kindness."

ABOUT ME

I am not as young as I was in this picture, but try to think of me that way, because I'm convinced that's how I'm going to look in heaven! I'm not ashamed to admit my age because I've earned every single grey hair I have! Yes, I am a sixty year-old grandmother, with a handsome husband who still gives me butterflies, and who is still the BEST thing that's ever happened to me!

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and my favorite scripture is Article of Faith: 13 "We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." ---Joseph SmithI memorized this scripture forty-five years ago, and I made it my motto for life; I measure everything I choose by this standard. (I'm still trying to get it right, but oh how I want to!)

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! I love the scriptures, the temple and my family of five children and twelve grandchildren, and especially my sweetheart Ron! Young people call me "sappy" I prefer to call myself sentimental. I love to garden, write, crochet and I love quiet kind words, kisses and giggles from grandchildren, beautiful flowers, feel good books, movies, and music that takes me away to a beautiful place! I love birds, butterflies, gurgling streams, blue-blue sky and I can't help it! So, if you love these things too, then we will surely be friends!
